Been using ‘rubbish’ a lot recently instead of other words. A Brit friend of mine uses it a lot & it definitely is more public friendly.

Speaking of rubbish, I’m horrible at talking/chatting with someone I find attractive. (Easier with those I only have physical attraction & little else.)  I turn into big idiot, grasping for words, clueless what to say next. Always playing out the next phrase multiple times in my head, to the point that in person I may seem distracted.

Some more drama on the flight this evening as well. I shared a row with a newly married couple which were having a meltdown in the airport. (They fit the definition of ugly American…very sloppily dressed, loud, obnoxious & ignorant.) Also had a couple in the row behind who had a failed 1st vacation, as it sounded, he was drunk & she was angry. They were bickering the whole flight on who owed whom money.

Apparently a few rows behind me there were some more obnoxious people, in that there was a change of flight attendants.

Can’t say I’m surprised, flights to major vacation spots attract plenty of interesting people.
