Only on days when doing a lot of shoulder exercises, my trainer finds how to tire my shoulders completely. This is usually done 3/4 of the way through a 45 minute session. It’s an exercise I’ve done for years, but with the addition of dumbbells.
Small Arm Circles with Weights
Need a pair of weights for each hand. (I use 3lb dumbbells) NO breaks at all
- With weights in hands, extend arms straight sideways from body.
- Rotate arms in small circles forward for 20 seconds
- Rotate arms in small circles backwards for 20 seconds
[Do another shoulder exercise in between sets - I did something like a breast stroke with the same dumbbells in between.]
