A friend is heading out tomorrow on this boat, Snow Lion for the Transatlantic Race from Newport, RI USA  to Lizard near Plymouth, England, UK. If I recall correctly, he said it would be 2+ weeks. They have an 8 person crew & will rotate through all positions every few hours. Seems the island (Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard) races are the gateway addiction, then Bermuda, now Transatlantic, next Pacific? or Volvo Ocean Race (formerly Whitbread)?
